So despite West Ham’s disastrous accounts and on pitch issues our CEO Karren Brady still feels she can tell the Championship clubs how to run their businesses.
” The problem is not what it earns. The problem is what it spends.” Wrote the Baroness, amongst other quotes in her Sun column.
Which may well be true but it’s almost exactly the words the FAB gave her at a recent meeting referring to our own club, you know, the one that’s just lost £104m, has transfer debt of £200m, and had to get a statement from shareholders promising a capital injection if and when liquidity fails in their latest accounts.
Perhaps the question is whether Brady is totally delusional, or thinks people are too stupid to understand just how badly she runs our business. This is a £1m plus a year CEO who is presiding over a train wreck but still believes she can tell others how to operate. Is it any surprise we are in the mess we are?
Perhaps a little internal reflection would help Karren ?
